We were honored to receive the Preservation Edge Award for the Frontier Drive-Inn. Colorado Preservation Inc awards projects that offer significant contributions toward preserving Colorado’s built archeological history as well as saving landscapes.

Frontier Drive-Inn opened in 1955 and closed in 1985. We bought it in 2016, renovating the screen, neon sign, snack bar and ticket booth. We created a unique site plan based on crop circles, and added lodging that was in the San Luis Valley’s vernacular. Today, we show movies under the stars and can host 50 or more people. We encourage people to get out during the day and enjoy all the valley has to offer – Penitente Canyon, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Zapata Falls, and numerous hot springs.

In 2007, the masterplan created by Continuum and East West Development for the Union Station transit redevelopment included a Metropolitan District for the benefit of the neighborhood. Last week, the City of Denver, Downtown Denver Partnership, Biennial of the Americas, and other partners celebrated a groundbreaking to add a secure bicycle hub in the space along with permanent art installations and community gathering spaces that are a result of that original investment.

The owners of three buildings that make up the bulk of the district — the Triangle Building, the Limelight Denver hotel and Continuum Partners' headquarters at 1881 16th St. — agreed to continue being taxed at a higher rate even after the Union Station bonds had been paid off for improvements to the neighborhood, Continuum's Falcone said.

"It just goes to show that people that reinvest in their neighborhoods are going to benefit in the long run," Falcone said. "We always say, as owners, that we benefit from the rising tide. No individual building can create value on its own. It's the entire neighborhood that has to do that."

The Born Mountain Club Hotel is located in an irreplaceable refuge in the central Rocky Mountains. This ski-in/ski-out hotel and members club will have luxurious amenities, all at the base of a legendary ski run.

22 cabins totaling 46 hotel keys, five single-family homes, and four townhomes make up the intimate village of elegantly designed dwellings, anchored by an amenity-filled clubhouse.

"In 2014, the 10 year anniversary of Belmar's creation, it was revealed that it contributed $17 million annually to Lakewood's revenue. In 2024, Belmar's total property value is around $33 million. That's good for around $2.5 million in property taxes and that's before you get to what they generate off sales in the area."

The Nurses' Home at 9+CO is officially recognized on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior.

Since we first began the development at what is now 9+CO, we consistently heard from the community that this building should be preserved for its contribution to the heritage of the State of Colorado. In January, we took the important step to get it registered so that it will stand for generations to come.
