USTA Intermountain Section is one of 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association.
We are a nonprofit organization committed to growing the game of tennis by offering quality recreational and competitive programs for people of all ages & abilities.
Meet Team Ball of Duty! The Men’s 3.0 Team from Boise Idaho. With players from age 19 to 82 they started the local league season as strangers, came to sectionals to battle, and left as a Band of Brothers.

Congratulations to all Intermountain teams that won their respective divisions of the 2026 Adult 18 & Over League Sectional Championships held in Salt Lake City, Aug. 7-9, 2026. All teams now qualify to advance to their respective National Championships in Mobile (AL), Surprise (AZ), or Orlando (FL) in October. Great job everyone!!

Great sportsmanship makes our sport the greatest! Congratulations to these additional players at our Adult 18 & Over Sectionals who were recognized by their peers for their outstanding sportsmanship this weekend!
We just caught up with a very excited Lisa who clenched the decider for The Team Colorado 2.5 women in a 3 hour singles showdown. Amazing sportsmanship was shown all-around in this matchup between Idaho and Colorado.

Diya_CO_Tennis is rising young star here in the Intermountain section. Not only is she a great player, she’s a great person. She took a break from winning to introduce herself and answer some 4th set questions with our Section PD Manager Josh Cossitt.

CONGRATULATIONS Jen Bell! Jen was our 2026 T-Shirt contest winner. We had over 25 submissions for this contest and over 400 votes with Jen’s design being the top vote.
