For more than 15 years, Wooden Spoon has been a local gathering place woven into the fabric of Denver’s Highlands neighborhood. Its warmth, quality, and sense of home are exactly what made us all fall in love with it, and because of that, we want to share some news with you.⁠

We heard a few weeks ago that Jason and Jeanette would have to close the doors of Wooden Spoon. We immediately felt in our hearts that we just couldn’t let that happen, and so it is with so much honor and gratitude to share that Edible Beats is stepping in as the new operators of Wooden Spoon.⁠

Our goal isn’t to change what people love about it, because we love it just as much. It’s to protect it, preserve the recipes, the spirit, and, most importantly, the incredible team that has grown with and made Wooden Spoon so special over the years. We believe great neighborhood establishments deserve to endure and maintain their legacy, and we’re committed to honoring everything that’s come before while thoughtfully supporting its future.⁠

To Jason, Jeanette and the entire Wooden Spoon family, thank you for creating something so meaningful. We know what this place means to so many people, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly.⁠
