Dear Future Best Friend,

My name is Daphne, and if you’re reading this, I think we are meant to meet.

I’m 5 months old and made up of all kinds of fun breeds, including Great Pyrenees. I even have the fancy dewclaws to prove it! Whatever else is in my DNA, one thing is certain: I am built for loyalty, love, and being your constant sidekick.

My favorite thing in the world is being with my people. Whether you’re cooking dinner, watching a movie, working in the yard, or heading to bed, I’d be happiest right there beside you. And if there’s an opportunity to snuggle? Count me in. Actually, count me in for all the snuggles.

I’ll admit, I can be a little cautious when I meet new people or experience new things. I like to take a moment to figure things out. But once I decide you’re a friend, I’m all in. My heart is yours.

I have lots of love to give, plenty of things to say, and I’m looking for a person or family that has room in their lives for a best friend who wants to be part of everything.

Meet Guppy, The Ultimate Velcro Pug.

Guppy is a sleek, shiny black female pug with a huge personality packed into one tiny body. She may be small, but she runs the show with charm, attitude, and enough sass to keep everyone entertained. Equal parts cuddle bug and comedy act, Guppy has mastered the art of being exactly where her favorite person is at all times.

She is not the kind of dog who wants to roam far from home or spend all day roughhousing at the park. Guppy’s specialty is being a loyal sidekick. Wherever her person goes, she is never far behind, happily shadowing them from room to room with her curly tail wagging. Her favorite place in the world is curled up beside someone she loves, preferably while receiving endless belly rubs.

Guppy is famous for her hilarious little pug sounds. Every new room becomes a full investigation complete with dramatic snorts, grunts, and curious sniffing. She approaches life like a tiny detective determined to inspect every corner. Her goofy sound effects make people laugh almost instantly.

Treat time is a full performance. Guppy especially loves jerky treats, although keeping them in her mouth can become an Olympic event. Her tiny curled tongue flips, curls, and works overtime while she concentrates with dramatic seriousness. The head tilts, the determined stare, and the triumphant little snort when she finally succeeds make every snack unforgettable.

Even though she is a professional cuddler, Guppy has a surprisingly athletic side. Out of nowhere, she will launch into wild zoomies through the house, racing around like a tiny black blur before collapsing back onto the couch for another nap. Her welcome-home routine is legendary with full body wiggles, excited grunts, tail wags, and joyful laps around the living room as if she has not seen you in years.

At the end of the day, Guppy’s real superpower is love. She melts into your arms with complete trust and contentment, often letting out soft little pug grunts while she settles in close.

Guppy is pure joy wrapped in shiny black fur and a curly tail. She is loyal, hilarious, affectionate, and impossible not to adore.

Sylvie is a 9-month-old puppy with a personality that shines just as bright as her striking golden eyes. This playful pup lives for zoomies, dog friends, and any plush toy she can proudly “de-stuff” in record time. She’s a classic puppy at heart, treat-motivated, energetic, goofy, and always ready for fun.

Sylvie gets along VERY well with other dogs and has also done well around cats, both the type of cats that want to play as well as the cats that want their space - making her a great candidate for a multi-pet home. Sylvie walks appropriately on a leash, and she is kennel trained to sleep quietly and not potty in that space. She is potty trained in her foster home, but as with any puppy in a new space some grace should be extended while she is getting used to a new routine.

Because Sylvie came from an unstable environment, she’ll need a family willing to give her patience, consistency, and time to adjust to new people and surroundings. Her foster family will attest that once she feels safe, her sweet and playful personality really starts to bloom. She’s looking for a home that understands that building trust is a process, and that the reward is a loyal companion who will absolutely steal your heart.

“No Dove, No Love, right?! 🕊🥰

We can’t believe just how much love is packed into this dainty gal’s happy body! Dove is assumed to be anywhere from 3 to 6, but its hard to say! She’s an unknown mix of small or toy breeds, but doesn’t seem to shed. She was found with extremely bad matting, so she will require very regular grooming (see last slide for her before). So far we can tell she is mostly potty trained and does amazing in a crate, too (aside from a whine or bark as you’re leaving 🥹). She is still trying to nail some new basics such as “sit” and “lay down” and “stay”, but is picking it all up very quickly!
Dove is the ultimate people pleaser who is dying for some pets or a lap to lay in all times of the day. She loves going on walks and hanging out in the back yard. She absolutely LOVES fetch, and will bring the ball back to you every time. Loves treats and a good bone to chew. Likes other dogs well enough but absolutely LOVES people. Every single person she encounters, in fact! Haven’t seen her around children or cats, but foster mama believes she’d adore them all!

With just a little dedication and fine tuning, this already amazing baby Dove will fly high and soar the skies!

Meet Coco! She is a 2–4 year old Aussie/Border Collie mix looking for her forever home.

She is deaf, but she’s attentive to her people and already knows basic hand signals like sit, stay and down. She’s working on come using a nose to hand touch cue.

Coco is very social and does great with other dogs. She has made lots of friends through her foster home and at the dog park.

She would thrive in an active home with people who want a companion for walks, hikes, water, fetch, and outdoor adventures. She also enjoys downtime and is happy to relax, cuddle, and hang out.

Coco is crate trained but does well out of the crate when left alone. She’s still working on leash control and will need someone willing to continue helping her build confidence and consistency there.

She’s intelligent, affectionate, and has made huge progress with her fosters. Coco deserves a home that understands high-energy working breeds and is ready for a loyal companion with a lot of love to give.

Copper is an energetic dog who loves to love. If you’re looking for a smart dog with lots of potential with the right patience and training he’d be your best friend. He’s very interested in other dogs and his surroundings, walks involve lots and lots of sniffs as he gets more comfortable with his new environment.

He’d benefit from a highly active owner looking for a walk, run, workout buddy to keep him busy. Copper quickly becomes your shadow and is always curious wherever his person is. Once he’s burned off some energy he’ll settle by the nearest window to watch the world go by for a while. When it comes to bedtime he’s great in the crate and sleeps through the night, he’ll be very excited to greet you every morning!

Copper is a very curious dog who with the right owner would quickly build his confidence and become someone’s forever friend. Not to mention he’s a head turner and is no stranger to getting constant compliments from people passing by.

Meet Yarrow, the happiest little sunshine pup! 🌞
This sweet girl is all about the good vibes! She flips, flops, and wiggles with pure joy, especially when you give her those magical belly rubs she adores. Yarrow is the definition of chill and gentle, perfect for playtime that’s full of fun but never rough.
She’s a total pro at crate time and loves soaking up rays in the sun or just hanging outside like the happy camper she is. As a natural retriever, she’s always ready for a game of fetch! On neighborhood walks, she’s the official Welcome Wagon, excitedly greeting strangers with a wagging tail and big smiles.

Yarrow is curious and friendly with other dogs (no shyness or grumpiness here!), and she’s an excellent travel buddy who makes every adventure better. And let’s be real, her absolute favorite thing in the whole world right now is FOOD! This girl lights up for her kibble, but she’s polite about it.

Yarrow is pure sunshine wrapped in fur, ready for belly rubs, sunny days, and a forever family to spoil with love! ❤️

Meet Zevi, a big sweetheart with the cutest snuggle paws.

Zevi is a gentle, loving boy who can be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable and settled in, he becomes the ultimate cuddle buddy. He absolutely loves head scratches, cozying up with his people, and going out for his daily walks.

Zevi was rescued from being euthanized in California and is now getting the second chance he deserves. Despite everything he’s been through, he remains incredibly loving, friendly, and eager to connect with people.

On walks, Zevi is very well behaved and doesn’t pull unless he spots a bunny or squirrel he just has to investigate. He’s treat motivated and eager to please, which makes him fun to work with and easy to bond with. He can be a little picky about plain kibble, but add some cheese, wet food, or sweet potato on top and he’ll happily clean his bowl.

Zevi is incredibly friendly and enjoys greeting both humans and other dogs. Because he’s a larger boy, smaller dogs can sometimes feel intimidated by his size, even though he means well. He is both crate trained and house trained and would love a home where he can continue building confidence and soaking up affection.

Meet Zapp ⚡️ professional shadow, loyal sidekick, and full-time lover boy. He spent months in the CA shelter system and was transported between two shelters.

Zapp is a 4 year old German Shepherd who takes “man’s best friend” very seriously. If you’ve ever wanted someone to follow you from room to room like you’re the most important person on earth, congratulations, you’ve found him. He’s a classic Velcro shepherd, your built-in hype man, cuddle buddy, and yes… bathroom security detail. He WILL be there for emotional support.

Despite his devotion, Zapp is a low-key king. He’s happy to lounge all day, hit the trails for a hike, or toss around with his foster brother, but make no mistake, his favorite place is wherever you are. Dogs are cool, but his human is elite.

Zapp gets along great with his foster brother, but he can be a bit selective with new dogs out on walks. He’s not trying to be rude, he just prefers a proper introduction over a surprise meet-and-greet. Think “gentleman with boundaries.”

He’s also what we’d call a luxury travel companion. Calm in the car, true princess passenger energy 👑, great on leash, and incredibly well-mannered at home. Truly a dream roommate.

Zapp’s one “flaw”? He loves hard. Like… really hard. He can get a little anxious when he’s away from his person, because in his world, you are everything. He’s looking for someone who wants that kind of bond, the kind where you’re never really alone again.
