It's been an emotional rollercoaster the last week or so. I'm just ready for this to all be done, but talking with other women and hearing their experiences has been a real pillar of strength. I plan on this time off to be a whole mind and body reset. I'm looking forward to a whole new, pain free, chapter of my life.

This journey has already had its ups and downs. But one of the highs of this process has been connecting with other women and hearing their stories. Reproductive health is such a touchy subject, and the fragility of our right to choose what to do with our body is more real than ever. I know I'm lucky to live in a Blue State where, for the most part they value women's reproductive rights. I'm lucky and I know that. For as lucky as I am, I've still been trying to get this procedure to improve the quality of my life for over 10 years. Don't stop fighting for yourself. Be your biggest advocate.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks trying to get everything together and start the hideously long process of applying for leave. Bureaucracy will be the death of me I swear.

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all! There was a whole lot to be thankful for this year.
After almost 7 years together Michael and I finally tied the knot in October. We had so many wonderful people come together to help us celebrate. With all the uncertainty in the coming years, I'm glad I'm riding that rough sea with you.

Development meeting! So, I've been quiet on IG for 3 reasons. 1. I am the owner of my own art business , and market season has taken over my life. 2. I'm getting married in October. 3. And more importantly. I've been developing a pilot.
At in May ,the universe decided to bring myself and back into each other's lives. And after a fateful lunch at Chili's 😂 we realized we had a story to tell.
We have been collaborating with some amazing artists on this project and I know it will not only be entertaining but also impactful.
