Are those the words of someone trying to cause harm to someone so much so that they justify the use of deadly force, all while recording with their phone in the other hand, calling her a “f**king bitch” after taking her life? The irony here is that the ICE agent’s wife is Filipino, and her parents still live in the Philippines. What if the roles were reversed? What if ICE deported his family? What if ICE shot his wife point-blank in the face for no reason whatsoever other than a power trip?
When will empathy prevail?
When will enough be enough?
When will justice be served?
With this administration in power, justice and everything this country once stood for will continue to be erased. We are living and watching the dismantling of democracy right before our eyes. When will we wake up?
