High-pressure alkaline hydrolysis system are slow, costly, and pose a danger to property and people. Older style systems require operators to handle a heavy, cumbersome, and dripping basket. The FC500 has no basket, so loading and unloading is safe and easy. The FC500 composts the decedent enabling the body to sustainably return to the earth, not the sewer, without the need for a casket or cemetery plot. Old style alkaline hydrolysis systems require the vessel to be tipped upward. Tipping of the vessels often leads to undigested tissue or brains, which require further processing. The pH of the essence is lowered to be beneficial to the earth. Waste water treatment facilities’ requirements are of no concern to our systems’ operators. The essence, on average 25 gallons, is land applied or returned to the families for a “burial.”

Our PCT and U.S. Non-Provisional patent process requires 95% less water than the 19th century chemical formulation used by most other systems. Salts and fats are not used in fertilizers. The FC500 readily collects and removes the salts and fats, so the essence is beneficial not harmful when gifted to the earth. About 33% more bone minerals returned than other alkaline hydrolysis systems – the sand sized bones pieces are collected not emptied down the sewer. Less costly: $159,000. Given our significantly lower cost, our system shouldn’t be better than what other manufacturers are offering; however, our system is vastly superior.
