Ready to load the kiln...Terry has kiln washed everything, marked the damper, made lunch!, and I've made the cone packs, witness cones, rings, wadding, and glazed the interior of 27 mugs! Trying to get mugs fired for the Cedar Creek Invitational Cup Show which opens January 9th. Not last minute or anything🤣 The firing also has some bowls, vases, candle stands, cheese boards, and cake stands. What a gorgeous day!

It was an incredible experience! Met so many people, did several demos, and impressed with everyone associated with Cedar Creek Gallery in Creedmoor, NC.

Treasures of the Earth exhibit at the Cleveland County Arts Council, 111 S. Washington St., Shelby, is Feb. 8 - March 19. The opening reception is tonight, 5 to 7. Hope you will check out this fun exhibit of local potters.

Record breaking temps today but got some kayaking done early and watered my flowers. Tonight I'm in the studio with the AC on and carving. I've got 35 mugs to decorate...it'll take me days🥰
