PEAK Learning Systems
Teaching for Excellence™ is a comprehensive approach to classroom curriculum, assessment and instruction with proven results.
Teaching for Excellence™ is a model focused on and driven by one thing, Performance Excellence for All Kids (PEAK). This comprehensive model goes far beyond the narrow focus provided by most approaches to improved instruction. Too many models do a good job with a singular aspect of good teaching and miss the impact it causes and the impacts that remain of the many other aspects of instruction alre

We have lost a great educator, and I have lost a good friend and mentor of 35 years. Harry made a huge, positive difference in the lives of millions of people, some directly and some indirectly.
We are continuing supporting friends and other educators. Covid has had a huge impact on everyone in education. As for us, we will continue to support quality education, Teaching for Excellence even, but we are officially closing PEAK Learning Systems, inc effective July 31, 2021 after 27 years of providing professional development around the world including 20 years of our Teaching for Excellence institutes and academies impacting millions of kids.
Speaking for everyone who has been a part of our team, thank you!. For everyone whose paths have crossed with ours, thank you. And for all the friends we have made along the journey, the journey continues ... and we are hoping we can keep our friendships thriving for the rest of our lives.
Renee Brice and I, Spence Rogers, will each be starting up as an independent contractor. We will be working together collaborativly supporting education.
To everyone in education, thank you for what you do for kids. We look forwart to continuing to hear from you and helping in ways we can. And for all of you who were teachers and administrators through covid, thank you for all you did... more than any of us who taught before can ever know. Thank you!
So much has been learned, so much success has happened, to lose it would be a crime. We are currently planning an updated series of books, and are hoping to release them one at a time as they are finished.
With hope and plans for an even better, brighter future for everyone,
Spence Rogers and Renee Brice

Our entire society owes you immense gratitude for the service you have provided during this horrific year. You have endured more than any of us could have ever imagined. You have recreated teaching. You have created ways to reach out to children. You have endured hardships that have affected you, your family and friends, and professional life. You and the kids of your schools have been heroes during this pandemic as you have worked your way through remote learning, no playgrounds, masks and the struggle to hear and be heard, the requirements of distancing and so much more. Thank You!!
Remember why you became a teacher and refresh yourself over the summer. The kids will be looking for your smiling face in the fall.

People are more likely to succeed when they clearly know where they are going.
Show students a challenging "target" before beginning to teach,
and more of them will hit it!

Try saving time and frustration by slowing down to use Step-by-Step processing.

We are in the last stretch. Keep all kids safe and successful by making sure they are ready for the next step.
Also, be sure to teach kids how to "make sure" with kindness!!
