Photo dump 2/2: after a fun weekend in New York City, I traveled to Austin, Texas for with my colleagues from . It was an amazing week of learning and community building with educators from around the world. I also got to see old friends, eat so much good food, and try out a 3d printed guitar! Thanks to everybody who made the week special!

Photo dump 1/2 - Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting New York City for the first time in over a decade. It was a whirlwind of a trip with amazing food, great friends and family, and a beautiful wedding. Here are some highlights!

My heart is full! Thank you for hosting me this morning and welcoming to your amazing community! It was a blast!
Every night I play music for my kids (ages 5 & 2). Our repertoire varies wildly - Amy Winehouse, Sam Cooke, Radiohead, John Denver, Show Tunes, Raffi (just to name some regulars). Sometimes they sing along. Sometimes they interrupt. Sometimes they fight over their mom’s lap. Zean reminds me that they will take it for granted because it’s so normal to them. They get their own little DIY show every night. I’m grateful that music is one of the gifts we get to share with them.
