First Ascenders' mission is to foster self-confidence, environmental awareness, and healthy living in urban teens through outdoor rock climbing experiences

In the spring, First Ascenders will manage a six week series for DSST high school students. The program takes students to different outdoor climbing destinations and utilizes curriculum designed around our four core values; leadership, trust, responsibility and discipline. Over the course of the program our students will share experiences and lessons that they will carry with them for a lifetime.
