for real though, i’ve been so incredibly lucky this season to get to witness so much love and beauty and humans being humans and these two were no exception. the world feels so dark these days, and spending my weekends creating art out of joy and memories is such a privilege 🩷

some of my favourite moments are the ones that happen when nobody is supposed to be looking. just the joy of handing off the bridal bouquet before finally marrying your best friend

still some of my favourite portraits to date 🩷 I feel like the phrase “documentary style photography” has gained a lot of traction in online bridal spaces (cough cough tiktok) to describe photography that doesn’t feel too posed/stiff. while I love catching those small candid moments, i’ll never describe my style as fully “documentary” because I love adding a cinematic element to my work. through prompts and silly little games, we can make photos look natural and unposed while still getting the best light and composition possible. some moments are meant to be observed and documented through my lens but others are meant to show the beauty and personality of both the couple and their special day with a bit more curation. just some wednesday thoughts
