The 50/30/20 Rule can help you set up your spending to be in alignment for long term success.
50% of your finances are your needs e.g. mortgage, rent and monthly payments
30% of your finances are your wants or discretionaries e.g. concerts and dinners out
20% of your finances goes to debt reduction and savings (once you reduce the debt reduction, you can build your long term savings)
