Hey everyone, some big news to announce.

Our album release show at Hi-Dive on Feb. 22 will be the last Specific Ocean show.

It may seem sort of strange to celebrate the release of something new while also closing out an era, but honestly, it couldn’t be more perfect. We’re saying goodbye to Specific Ocean on the highest possible note, sharing music we care about deeply and are so proud of.

We are eternally grateful to the generous folks who donated to the Kickstarter. To be able to release original music and know that people support us is the greatest gift we could receive as independent musicians.

Times change, lives evolve, and priorities shift, and it doesn’t make sense for us to continue the project anymore for various reasons. We’re closing the chapter here, but we’re so grateful that this important part of our lives can live on forever in the album.

We hope you can join us as we welcome in “i’m not a perfect person, but i’m trying to make you proud” and say goodbye to Specific Ocean.
