Make West is excited to welcome Denver’s experiential design community to an inspiring event on 4/27. presents “Between Idea & Object: Inside Make West”. The event is open to the public. Tickets at the link in our bio.

Event description:
Make West lives in the space between. Between the intangible idea and the physical object. Between individual elements and the relationships that form between them. Between a room full of things and a memorable experience.

In celebration of International Design Day, join us for a guided tour where you’ll see the tools, meet the experts, and explore the process experiential designers know well: the real work happens in between.

When: Apr​il ​27,​ ​2026 – Doors open at 5pm, tours begin at 5:30pm. Food and drinks will be provided.

A clean Donor Recognition display for Colorado Academy's "See it Through" capital campaign, which helped to fund some of the most utilized spaces on campus, including the Leach Center for the Performing Arts. Over 800 families and foundations participated in the donation effort!⁠

Direct-printed, edge-banded aluminum composite panels and some walnut-laminated dimensional letters with a CA red pop on the returns.⁠

It's hard not to love an honest, classic neon sign. We created this one to help direct visitors to Colorado Academy's Black Box Theatre, a secondary performance space within the newly-constructed Leach Center for the Performing Arts.⁠

Exposed glass tube supports mounted to a cut aluminum backer. Neon Nerd Alert: for traditional neon fabrication, the color comes from the type of gas that is pumped into the tube. Neon gas creates the classic red/orange light seen here; while white light is created by using gases such as argon or carbon dioxide. ⁠

The moss revolution is here! Whether it's bold company mottos and brand features like at Nextworld or decorative interior installations like we did for a downtown consulting firm, biophilia is here to stay. In addition to giving a space a softer, more organic vibe, moss has the added benefits of sound absorption and air filtration, making for healthier work environments.⁠

Meticulously-executed reception area with our halo-lit steel logo sign nested perfectly into the space. We especially love how designed architectural lines within the build that reflect the company branding. A selection of just some of the sleek, ultra-cool installations over at the new Chevron office. Coming off the elevator, visitors are welcomed with a super-dynamic lobby that incorporates a new, illuminated floor ID graphic on one side and an open-channel moss letter and steel company logo on the other. The separate parts of the logo were differentiated by implementing a combo of brushed and polished steel.

Mike is our Master Crafter in the shop. When it comes to radical problem-solving, he has the depth and breadth of skills to get the job done. His combination of technical knowledge, high-end millworking skills, and all-around fab and finishing mastery equip him for even our craziest projects, making him a critical component of Make West's craftmanship.⁠

In his free time, you'll likely find him out on his motorcycle, Colorado camping, cooking something delicious, or working toward finishing his pilot's license!⁠
