💭 How do you measure the ROI of art?
It’s a question we hear all the time. And in our newest podcast episode, Steve Lindley of Holualoa Companies offers a unique perspective: “What’s the ROI of hiring a great architect instead of a mediocre one?”
The answer can’t be found in a single metric.
It’s reflected in leasing velocity.
Tenant retention.
Community pride.
The feeling people have when they walk into a place and want to stay longer and visit again.
Great developments are never the result of one factor alone. They’re the culmination of many thoughtful decisions made by many creative collaborators working together to bring something to life.
And art, culture, and creativity are absolutely part of that equation.

Three months, one site-specific commission, countless moving pieces, and it all came to life beautifully!
We were thrilled to partner with the Downtown Seattle Association to activate their new space at 3rd & Pine, just in time for their grand opening. What started as a fast-moving concept became a collaborative effort between House of Sorcery (artwork + design), Signs of Seattle (vinyl printing + installation), and Clare Johnson with Art Exhibition Services (gallery wall fabrication + installation).
Grateful for an incredible team that helped make it happen!
