Harvesting has officially begun with our local community gardens and farmettes! We are now working on harvesting fresh radishes, lettuce, bok choi, and some green onion! Come down to the for some freshly harvested veggies located in our big food pantry fridge up front!

Meet our Veggie Ambassador, Sophie! 🥕

Sophie Hernandez is a 26 year old artist who is passionate about community gardening, social justice, and harnessing the power of creativity in daily life. She is currently a part time online student through CSU majoring in graphic design. She is excited to be an ambassador in training for The Table Urban Farm because she believes in the importance of community gardens, fostering communal care, and working with the plants and soil.

Meet our Garden Ambassador, Renee! 🌱

My name is Renee and I am excited to join this season as a new garden ambassador! I live in the Overland neighborhood with my partner Jesse and our beautiful cat Neko. I am passionate about The Tables mission to engage in community, share access to nourishing foods, while leading with grace. I am a huge fan of The Table and I’m honored to join the program this growing season!

Meet our Flower Ambassador, Peg! 🌸

Peg recently retired from the Colorado Department of Education where she served in the role of Strategic Initiatives in choice education. She is a natural visionary and community connector believing that 3rd spaces shape our worlds through who we meet, engage and come alongside in new opportunities to grow. Peg shares in common with the Table Urban Farms the desire to sow connection and farm relationships through joy, beauty, stewardship and grace.

She is thrilled to tend to and distribute beauty throughout the community as a flower ambassador at Table Urban Farms and cannot wait to nurture your heart with blossoms!

Table Urban Farm leaders gathered a few days ago to discuss the growing community, educational opportunities, and sustainability as we embark on a new season. We cannot wait for all that is to come! 🌱
