Thank you to our flower ambassadors Peg for making all our flowers into beautiful bouquets and to our other garden ambassadors for harvesting and growing!

These are the start of some beautiful bouquets from our flower ambassador Peg! We have a huge variety of these babies at both gardens from snapdragons, to nasturtiums, to sunflowers, to even flowering produce like basil or onion!

Our cherry tree is bearing fruit, lots of beets, radishes, raspberries, herbs, and community connections!

We got some more absolutely beautiful produce from the Good News Garden today!
Mustard greens, lettuce, cilantro, and beets galore 🫜🥬
Our produce is available for any and everyone to take FOR FREE at the police station entrance located on Clay and Evans (2100 S Clay St.)
Unfortunately, our community fridge at the Table Public House is not functioning at the moment, so we are not currently stocking produce there. We are working to get it up and running again.

We have been having a blast learning how to seed (traditionally and with Tom’s cool new sowing device) as well as learning how to identify when a crop is ready to be harvested!

We have been getting some AMAZING produce at the Good News Garden with Tom! Bok Choy, lettuce varieties, cabbages, onions, chive, garlic, and MUCH more!

Harvesting has officially begun with our local community gardens and farmettes! We are now working on harvesting fresh radishes, lettuce, bok choi, and some green onion! Come down to the for some freshly harvested veggies located in our big food pantry fridge up front!
