We’ve officially been submitted for Hammersonic Festival.

GOATSILK is in the running for one of the biggest stages in Southeast Asia.

We’ve been grinding for years, building this from the ground up with zero shortcuts, real shows, real work, and real fans. No hype machine. Just persistence and heavy music.

Say what you want, doubt it if you need to, but we’re not sitting still. We’re pushing outward now.

Let’s see where this goes.

Getting this band back together has been one hell of a ride.

Over the last year, more than 800 people have joined the Goatsilk mailing list, and our new fan email list has already added another 200 supporters. That’s over 1,000 people who have chosen to follow what we’re building.

People stream our music.
People share our posts.
People buy merch.
People buy tickets to shows,even traveling from out of state to see us.

And for that, we’re grateful.

This band has been around for over 13 years.

Most people talking have jumped from band to band, project to project, chasing whatever comes next. We’ve stayed consistent.

We’ve toured.
We’ve had sponsorships and endorsements.
We’ve played festivals.
We’ve played a ton of shows in different cities, in different rooms, for different crowds.

We don’t need to impress anyone.

This is fun for us now. After everything we’ve done and everything we’ve been through, being able to still play music and share it with people who actually care means more than anything else.

But every now and then, someone pops up to tell us we’re too small, not good enough, or that we should quit. Sometimes it’s comments. Sometimes it’s DMs. Sometimes it’s anonymous messages trying to stir things up.

The funny thing is, the people taking shots at our stream numbers and listener counts usually know those numbers because they’re watching.

At some point, that stops being hate and starts looking like obsession.

And just to be clear we don’t care about bought numbers, fake metrics, or inflated stats that some people chase to look bigger than they are. That’s not who we are.

We also don’t believe in building around a single platform or vanity metrics. Spotify isn’t the only place music exists, and it’s not the only thing that defines an artist.

What matters to us is simple real music, real shows, and real people in the room.

Because nothing replaces that.

We do this because we love music.
We do this because we love writing songs, playing shows, and connecting with people who actually show up.

Every band starts somewhere. We’re not ashamed of where we are. We’re proud of every listener, every fan, every ticket sold, every stream, and every person who believes in what we’re doing.

Whether there are 15 listeners, 150 listeners, 1,500 listeners, or 15,000 listeners, we’re going to keep moving forward.

The support we’ve received means more than any negativity ever could.
