I hope all you caregivers out there are relaxing and getting some rest! I know you've probably all got your hands full and are stressed out but please if you can take some time for yourself! Self care is essential! Also don't feel guilty about taking some time off for yourself! I wanted to share this resource list on the website. I put together I put together a list of resources, including organizations, aging consortia, and Medicaid services (no private companies). Depending on the state there are potentially grants or in-home visits from caregivers available. Happy Friday!! Firstly I want to say the "relaunch" of the website has been AMAZING!! Everyone on here has been so awesome and supportive and really helpful. So many incredible people have shared the website and checked out the website and I want to thank all of you!!! Got another free printable trivia up on the site which you can download and use with your LO! This one’s all about food, which is always an easy way to get a conversation going. Victoria Yeary wrote a great post about how food trivia can be a fun way for caregivers and activities pros to start conversations with people who have dementia or Alzheimer’s and also added some fun facts in there which may be good to get a conversation going. Also I know a lot of caregivers struggle getting the person they are caring for to eat so I thought maybe playing this with them or just talking about the pictures of food in the trivia printable might get their appetite going potentially!
