since the year is winding down…

I’m getting to the point in the year where I love to reflect and think about goals for the coming year

2025 has really been such an incredible year, I’ve worked with so many amazing couples and vendors on beautiful wedding days and I am so grateful for every one of them

As I look forward, I can’t help but be excited about the coming year and all that it will bring. Thank you for another great year as Roaming Photo

Quick note about this day: it was in Grand Junction, now if you’ve ever spent time on that side of Colorado, you’d know that it’s a desert and it rarely ever rains. You probably think you know where I’m going with this, but let me just say that the weekend of this wedding GJ received the most rain it’s had in multiple decades. Yes you read that right

Of course that didn’t stop any of us from setting out to make this wedding day a dream and by how many photos I needed to share, I think we achieved that goal

Let me start by saying I love K & C - when they reached out to me for their wedding day, K was so excited to do something fun & unique for their engagement session. Which brings me to talking about this idea

Funny enough, it was about a year ago when I had this idea to capture love through the seasons of a year. I wanted to show the passing of time and the endurance of love through it- I called it ‘Love In A Year’. So when K asked for unique and fun, I pitched her this idea and we knew it was the right fit for them!

So we started planning, we decided to use their Denver home (such a cute place by the way) to capture their authenticity. Then we worked through things they love & do together like listening to records, drinking coffee together in the morning & running around their home.

A year (and some change) from your wedding day, I cannot be more excited to capture those memories for you 🫶🏼
