Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption volunteer, Rachel, recently (on a cooler temperature day) took Freya outside for some fresh air. Freya recently lost her companion, Odin, to lymphoma. Freya enjoyed the extra attention that Rachel showed to her. Attached is a collage of pictures that Rachel took. We're giving Freya little bit of time before we try her with other ferrets. But, hopefully soon, Freya should be ready for adoption.

An update on Leia who is happy to be back at Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption.
"Leia is back at the rescue after several weeks of hospitalization. She had an infected tear duct which also rotted out her jaw bone all along her right side nasal passage and part of the orbit of her eye. Part of her cheek bone on the right side of her face also needed to be removed. Luke is happy to have her back as he constantly checks up on her, grooms her and helps feed her. Thank you, Dr. Liza and staff for caring for her all this time. Leia needs to be hands fed mush 4 to 6 times a day until her mouth heals then she can go back on solid food."

Ferret Dreams Rescue & Adoption would like to introduce you to Artemis. Artemis is a single four year-old ferret, who is looking for a good home. She prefers the company of humans rather than ferrets. Artemis does have adrenal disease. Her annual adrenal implant will be covered through FDRA medical plan.
If you are interested in adopting Artemis, please fill out our Adoption Application. https://ferretdreams.org/adoption-application-1
"The latest on Olaf, dropped off a couple weeks ago anonymous at the door, he looks like a product of starvation and was having seizures, but recuperating well with some neurological damage and limited mobility. But overall, we’re happy with his progress and praying for more. Is in foster care right now, but we are hoping he can come back to the rescue next week." -- Lee
