Back Deck Spaces

Can we take a moment to appreciate that the architects & designers that built the Shard made the conscious decision to give the bathrooms the BEST view in the house? Because DAMN! A thousand feet up sure does give a lot of perspective.

But also, I definitely wasn't supposed to take pictures in the Queen's Gallery at Westminster Abbey. I'll do whatever it takes to get the shot.

Speaking of different angles, check out this sharp information center across the street from St. Paul's Cathedral. I'm a sucker for a good modern building.

If there's one thing we took away from our study abroad trip Japan (aside from our relationship) it's to always get different vantage points of the city - get up as high as you possibly can and shoot down; get as low as you can & shoot up!

Ash and I were extremely surprised how much we enjoyed Paris and how easily we found it to navigate. Going back to Paris is most definitely on our list of places to go back to.

A year ago, Ash and I spent a couple weeks traveling between Paris & London and we are only now getting around to sharing our travel pics. Naturally, we're scheduling these to post while we are out traveling. So for the next couple weeks, enjoy some European architecture.

The Kiles are going offline for the next couple weeks while we catch some sun and make some memories.

What I love most about the downtown Denver architecture is the mix of 1870s western red bricks with the modern high rises because how can you go anywhere if you don't remember your roots?

Even in architectural photography can a cloudy day add another layer of depth to an image. Sometimes you've just got to embrace it.

Architecture is about trying to make the world a little bit more like our dreams & this house is absolutely dreamy.

Who wants to grab coffee in a book shop with us? We don't have to talk or anything, we can just exist in the same space together.

Our favorite section of the 16th street mall has got to be the Denver Pavilions, hands down. Who else is ready for the 16th Street Mall to be finished?
