NCECA really said “what if we put all the ceramic artists you’ve admired for years in one place and let you try to act normal about it” 😂

Wrapping up my time at NCECA feeling so inspired, energized, and creatively full. 🤍

One of my favorite parts was exploring the resource hall so much creativity, innovation, and so many beautiful materials, tools, and ideas all in one space.

Seeing the K–12 student exhibition was also incredibly moving. The talent, imagination, and confidence in those young artists was amazing and such a beautiful reminder of why access to art education matters.

I’m still thinking about my favorite session and how powerful it was; the kind of experience that stays with you and reminds you why this work matters beyond what we make with our hands.

And of course, there’s something so special about getting to watch potters and ceramic artists I admire demonstrate, share, and generously offer their knowledge and process.

Leaving NCECA with a full heart, a full camera roll, and a mind buzzing with ideas. Until next time ✨
