This song was a fun one to make. and I put a lot of work into this one and I think it shows. Part 2 of the Live in the Now series really highlights the growth that we have had over the past few years and paints a clearer picture of my place within all of this madness we call life. I know I’m not some rockstar and I’m not the greatest thing in music nor will I ever be. That’s not what I’m going for, that’s not what my motives are. My whole reason for making music is bringing my thoughts, feelings and emotions to the surface, using music as my canvas and painting the picture I see. It’s my own language that I’ve created and I’d love nothing more than for everyone in the world to understand it. I don’t think that’s really possible but when you put love ❤️ into something, it’s undeniable. I’m 33 years old and just really embracing who I am and what I bring to this world 🌎... I like to imagine that maybe one day my art can help one person really believe in themselves before I did. Peace and many blessings.

I think it’s safe to say, the world 🌎 is moving faaaaast right now. Not necessarily physically but more so in a socio-mental kinda way. And with everything going on in the physical, we can find it hard to just be/exist/experience the here and now moments that make this life special. I do it constantly... I’m always looking forward to bigger, better ideas and what the next move is, when really where I’m at right now and why things are perfect, is because this is how it’s supposed to be. I’m not saying don’t look forward... but what I am saying is EMBRACE where you are in this LIFE and squeeze every bit of LOVE out of everyday and pour it into the ones and the things that you say you LOVE and the fruit from your tree 🌳 could feed the 🌎 . This song is the very first part of an ongoing series called Live in the Now. These songs are a tool and way for me to stop myself in the moment whether I’m struggling mentally or on top of the world and really look at where I’m at and how I got there. Thank you to everyone who pushes me to be the best me possible. This is my new song Live in the Now.

This past year of uncertainty and unexpected change has really given me perspective on my own personal life and my career. I’ve never felt more at peace with where my life is right now.. I’ve never been more proud of myself, I’ve never felt more optimism, but at the same time, I’ve never had more to prove to myself, more to work on and more to achieve than I ever have before. Live in the Now is my newest song to be released with about 10 more waiting right in line behind it but Live in the Now is it’s own thing, feel, vibe... whatever you wanna call it. But I feel like it serves as a time stamp for how I’m feeling at the time or where I view myself in that moment. I want to treat it as a reflection point to look back at but also be able to lean on if I’m struggling mentally. Writing does so much for me and being able to take my words and bring them to the physical is an incredible blessing and I hope that I never take this gift and these moments for granted. If you are here with me now, I just want to thank you for your energy and your support. It truly means the world to me. This song being released on 5/10/21 is Pt. 1 of the on going series Live in the Now.
