ONE MILLION VIEWS!!
Woke up yesterday to over 1,000,000 views on our studio cover of “Exile” (originally written and recorded by Taylor Swift & Bon Iver).
We both have our own reasons for connecting with this song and Mina Reya Music had the idea to perform all the instruments, sing, engineer, and produce this one herself (and was nice enough to invite me to sing Bon Iver’s part) with Vincent DiPasquale lending his expertise making some tweaks and putting the final mastering touches on it!! Seeing so many people listen to our version has been unreal.
(It was sitting comfortably around 50,000 views and slowly climbing… then when Taylor released her latest album “Life of a Showgirl” the hype around that alone skyrocketed our version of “Exile” to over a million views in just 6 weeks!!)
