Brenda wanted a traditional olive cowboy hat featuring a cattleman’s crease crown, lifted wide brim, with a single feather while Chef Daniel wanted something unique. We wanted to make his brim feel like it was from the late 1800s or early 1900s and so we did a whiskey colored open crown with West Texas punch dents on each side. We lifted the sides of the brim slightly while leaving the front of the brim wide and fishing it with a traditional copper grosgrain ribbon and bow.

Starting now, we’ll be bringing our custom hat-making experience to Double Eddy’s retreats, weddings, and private events, giving guests the chance to create a hat that tells their story right on the ranch.

We are proud to be supporting as her official hat partner as she embarks on her journey to become Miss Black Rodeo USA. We are excited to watch as she displays passion, grace, and GREATNESS during this process

We recently had the honor making a first custom hat that she will be wearing as she judges the Mrs. Colorado and Miss Colorado for America pageant!

For her hat we did a beaver felt blend all black low profile gus style crown with a western brim. We adorned the hat with remaining fabric from the dress she will wear at the pageant, cotton and leather lace, and a black crows feather.

International Whiskey Day at the was one for the books!

With a packed room, cocktails flowing, custom brims being shaped on-site, setting the vibe with soulful sounds and non-stop energy… this was more than an event, it was truly a moment.
