The purpose of Alternative Community Triage is to stop our community from bleeding off members. Gabriel and Tawnya are shining examples of our community and we would all be worse off without them in our lives. Please donate what you can to help them find security in their living situation and to stave off eviction. An eviction which would leave them with no option other than to leave the state to move in with family. I know our community is unbelievably strong. Let our members find sanctuary in the strength of our embrace.

Tow companies can’t take your car without 24-hours notice, according to new law If companies fail to follow the new rules, vehicle owners can file complaints with the new office of tow hearings and have their fees waived.

During the entire month of August, RTD will offer zero fares across its system as part of the Zero Fare for Better Air initiative. This collaborative, statewide initiative, made possible by Colorado Senate Bill 22-180, in partnership with the Colorado Energy Office, is designed to reduce ground-level ozone by increasing the use of public transit. Current RTD customers will also benefit as they will not have to use or purchase fare products from August 1-31, during Colorado’s high ozone season.

Hopefully this translates to lower rent prices.
