Judas Priest and Sabaton in Loveland, CO last night! It was so great to see these two bands under one roof. Absolutely EPIC night!

Always a great time photographing The Koffin Kats! Absolutely love these guys, got to see them two nights in a row, can't wait to see them again.

I had an amazing time seeing the first three shows of Powerwolf's first North American tour! I attended these as a fan but was able to get a few shots with my phone. Absolutely incredible shows, energetic (and sometimes rabid, looking at you Montreal) crowds. Cannot wait to catch one last stop in Denver...hoping to bring the real cameras this time :)

I don't know about other photographers, but when I'm editing shots from a show I've recently photographed, I have to listen to their music. I find it really helps dial in the feel I'm trying to convey with my images.

Sometimes it's the other way around. If I've seen a show recently that had an impact on me, and I end up listening to that artist a lot, I tend to go back to the photos I took at their show and work on a few more edits. That happened this evening when I was listening to a couple of Aurelio Voltaire's singles from his new album The Black Labyrinth. So here are a few of those new edits. I would definitely recommend going to one of his shows if he's touring in your area.
