Prayer is a beautiful activity to align with a greater consciousness and divine will. It can also become a way to seek control when we do not know how to flow with life as it is, or when we try to impose our opinion of how life should be on others or on the world.
For maybe how we think the world should be is not how it is meant to be.
When we pray for how we want to feel, we do not impose on others or the world. Instead, we allow life to manifest its divine design.
✨ There is a huge shift happening in workplaces toward strength-based feedback and leadership. 🌿
Research shows that when managers focus on employee weaknesses, only 31% of employees are engaged. Yet when managers focus on employee strengths, engagement rises to 67%. 💫
Strength-based feedback has also been shown to reduce turnover by 14.9%. 🌎📈
People flourish when they are seen for their gifts, potential, and contributions rather than constantly being measured by what they lack. 🌸

I was recently told a beautiful parable that goes with the famous phrase, “This too shall pass.” Upon meditating on the phrase, I realized it may not be the best advice for all circumstances.
This phrase works well when we are at the dentist and feeling pain from the experience. It can help us remember that the pain will quickly be forgotten once the procedure is over. It is also a great reminder of the cycle of life and how it is filled with both ups and downs when we perceive life that way. Yet, if we hold less judgment over life, then there is no better than or worse than this moment.
If we allow life to always pass us by without discovering how to embrace it, what will we have left?
If we wait for something to pass rather than exploring it fully, then we may miss the gifts behind the purpose of this experience showing up. Waiting for it to pass can become a form of denial, missing the present, and ignoring what is in front of us. If we feel our reaction to it fully, then we get to the other side and may no longer feel a negative reaction to this type of situation. If we do not pay attention, then this experience may repeat itself until the lesson meant for us is learned.
Thus, nothing passes. It repeats, resolves, or dissolves.
