we’re gearing up for the warmer months and another year of outdoor festivities! our first friday festival series community has been growing, and we are so excited to share our lovely summer ritual with you all. our outdoor night market will feature our roaming hi-fi setup via remote viewing, libations from esp, and some of the best local vendors around. we’ll be throwing down every first first friday from may-oct. we’re also expanding a bit and bringing on some new vendors this year, if you have an interest in participating, please email [email protected] we’re accepting applications for local makers, food vendors, record vendors, vintage, dj’s + see you in the sun ☀️ 🎶

join us wednesday, november 6th from 4-7p for a zev rovine selections wine takeover, hosted alongside of and . and eric will be on the decks with some fresh funk, and we’ll be pouring some hard-to-find wines from the outstanding portfolio (tricot, robinot, and princic to name a few!) not to be missed.

XO (kcmo) will be popping up at ESP both Friday and Saturday of this week! XO is our new listening bar located in Kansas City, Missouri. The food offerings available will be creations of (James Beard Nominated) Johnny Leach, who draws inspiration from “konbini” fare (food you would find in fresh japanese convenience stores) Offerings will include: edamame dip with fried yuba, nori egg salad sandwich, and a pork curry katsu sandwich. Come join us either Friday for our last first Friday outdoor activation, or Saturday at ESP from 4pm-8pm. You don’t want to miss!

this coming sunday join us for plenty of zen bliss, coming from our mainstays zach cowie & pete swanson, with our own sophia ducharme providing the interludes! zach will shape his picks around the late mimi parker, drummer and vocalist for low, a band that has shape-shifted to great effect over the last 30 odd years. pete is showcasing the belgian label disques du crepuscule. a label that certainly has peak interest from the room on any given night at esp. oozing effortless cool from minimalist and romantic euro post-punks. this session is sure to surprise, tix are limited. 2nd link in bio. doors at 1:20. see ya there and prepare to let go

Remote Viewing is back with another 4-point Klipschorn hi-fi dancefloor experience. This time around we will be taking advantage of the extended hours of daylight to celebrate the start of summer and all things ethereal, deep and groovy. There will be drinks by the esp team including Japanese whiskey and sake tasting, an outdoor lounge activated by the good people at Invisible City featuring a non-alcoholic elixir bar as well as some tasty treats from trusted food vendors.

Following the outdoor event we will be moving the tunes inside for a special listening set from Toshiya at esp as well as welcoming back Woolfy from Ojai, California for a nightcap of balearic, house and disco a block over at Invisible City.
