Celebrating dance artistry in the Front Range. Witness an unforgettable spectacle as dance makers from the Front Range join Boulder Ballet for a one-night-only event celebrating the connectivity of dance

Tickets start at $25. Child, Youth, and Student discounts are available.

The performance will feature new works by Boulder Ballet's Artistic Director, Ben Needham-Wood, and Wonderbound's Sarah Tallman, as well as special guest performances from Jarrett Rashad Dance Theater, Viskosity Dance Collective, and the Colorado Ballet.

The first annual Somebody’s Friend Movement and Music Festival is May 18-21, 2023, in RiNo on Larimer Street between 25th St to 35th St. It is a celebration of the Denver/ Front Range Dance Community, bringing together more than 41 dance companies, DJs and artists on 1 stage and the streets of the RiNo Arts District. A four-day festival of dance, music, and the best food Denver has to offer turned up with a series of culinary events.

response to Nadine Robinson’s installation Coronation Theme: Organon of 2008 uses its monumental sculptural presence and an immersive soundscape to weave complex aspects of Black life in America over the past century from the rituals of dance halls in Jamaica to the development of hip hop in New York, to gospel music and secular oration, as well as photographs documenting police brutality against nonviolent civil rights protestors.
