What's handy home services been up to lately? Landscaping!

Some wiring, framing for a small room, doors, drywall, wardrobes, a ton of paint, spot of plumbing and who knows what else the place is rented out. Particularly happy about the window as I haven't done one since I was 17 😳. Time for a break.

Simple demo and packing a bulk bag. Off to the dump!

Some basic framing, cutting rock sheet and tying counters and cutting for a stove lead to a wonderful tip on Friday. Always appreciated.

Fitted a hand rail today! Came in 3 parts and had to drill through concrete🤦🏼 so was a little tricky but all good in the end.

Toilet and bidet install. Don't test them while standing in front of the toilet because you're gonna get wet hah.

Sometimes all the joints are cracked and you would like new ones for summer so the patio looks great!

Haven't posted in a while so here's a pro tip:

Laminate floor can look really cool in Your home but don't buy cheap stuff for $25 a box. It comes broken and you have to treat it like a baby while installing which takes extra time costing you more money. Then how long will it last?

I recommend life proof or nucore. It has a laminate coating that's waterproof and scratch proof and they mean it when they say life time warranty. Infact if you sell your home you could just take it with you.

Cabinet pairing was on the cards this week for Handy Home Services. Stain is tough to paint with but the results look good!
