🚨Melissa officially made landfall as one of the most powerful hurricane landfalls in the Atlantic Basin🚨
’s winds have increased to 185 mph, and its pressure has dropped to 892 mb. This makes Melissa one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes on record. It’s slowly nearing the Jamaica coastline.

Today we broke the EF-5 streak!🌪️ It’s been over 13 years since the NWS rated a tornado as an EF-5. The Enderlin, ND tornado from June 20, 2025 has been upgraded to an EF-5.
May 20, 2013 outside of Oklahoma City, OK was the last EF-5 rated tornado.
What on earth is Virga?!🤔 We get this so often in Denver!
