Air permitting expertise is especially important here. This role owns the air compliance program and the internal systems that support it, from SOP development and compliance tracking to audit preparation and regulatory response coordination. Moving a greenfield mining project from concept into prefeasibility takes someone who can balance technical depth with coordination across a lot of moving parts.
