Full-circle moment last night💯!! Members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony were kind enough to accept a signed copy of my latest book—that mentions them btw🥰. I first attempted to see them back in 1996 but because I had curfew I had to leave before they took the stage. I always told myself I’d see them and for my birthday weekend, I did—and I even got to tell them a little bit about my journey, artist to artist. Their archive of unmatchable music fueled me at 18 and still does today. Bone thank you for making this one of the best birthdays ever. Keep blessing us. 💯😌🙏🏿

It’s writing season! I went to visit the Battle of Island Mound historical site this weekend-
this battle marks the 1st time Black soldiers saw combat in the Civil War. It was rainy and somber, but I got some well needed inspiration to finally finish this darn book!!!! 🙌🏾 More book teasers coming soon!
