After our little escape to Key West it was time to wrap up some last stops in Florida before we started our trek back to Colorado for the summer.

The first 2 pictures are from The Devils Den Prehistoric Springs which I highly recommend to visit! You can snorkel and scuba dive in the cave or enjoy the huge outdoor swimming area.

Got in a beach day at New Smyrna Beach, some shopping and a dinner with the little sis. Great catching up with her this winter☺️.

Then off to Tampa for a few days and back up the emerald coast stops in Panama City Beach, Pensacola and the Gulf Shores.

We had a good time in Florida this winter. We made it a point to be near the water as much as possible and I think we did a dam good job! Going to miss my beach days but at the same time looking forward to Colorado🥰.

And welcome to Key West! Nothing sets the mood and the excitement than the drive in with beautiful blue water all around you 💕.

We stayed for 2 weeks but honestly could have stayed a bit longer. Our first week was in key Largo, unfortunately no snorkeling because the weather was to cold but we got lots of kayaking and ocean life in.

We love a good speakeasy and highly recommend The Armory Speakeasy! Nothing like the beaches, being on the water, cocktails and sunset dinners to give you the island vibes😎.

Second week moved down to Bahia Honda Key. More amazing water, some quality beach time, bike rides and of course a trip to actual Key West. Not our first time so we skipped a lot of the touristy spots and stuck to our favorite spots.

We really enjoyed this trip, till next time 🏝️

Still playing catch up from this winter. First major update, we bought a motorcycle and we both got are licenses and loving the new adventures 🙌.

This year we decided to get dressed up and go out and celebrate NYE’s which we normally never do and glad we did, we had a blast! Think we’ll do this more often🎉

We had a good amount of time to hang out with different family members and a week to take care of the grandbaby which was priceless ❤️.

Being in FL gave us a lot of opportunity to enjoy some really good Colombian food which never gets old.😋

Next up Key West😎.

❤️

Onto Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, Rosemary and down to Mexico Beach! We love the Gulf Coast, you get the prettiest blue water and white sand beaches and don’t forget about the beautiful sunsets 🌅

Having the e-bikes really came in handy when we wanted to really explore the area. Love them for the beach! Now time to start getting ready for the holidays and head to the Atlantic side of Florida.

And just a few day’s later we made it to sunny Florida for the winter!

We arrived with reservations for the Pensacola area only to find out upon arrival that they closed our campground down without any notice due to the government shutdown and found ourselves in the parking lot full of stranded travelers all trying to figure out where to stay that night 😤. Fortunately we found some accommodations in the area for the week and crisis averted!

But first thing first, we were park by the beach and could see the beautiful blue water and white sand beach, nothing better to calm us down and relax than to spend the afternoon enjoying our first day back to beach😎.

Enjoyed a few weeks of sun, sand, bike rides, cocktails and sunsets💕

Time to continue our coastal trip down the Emerald Coast!

It’s been awhile, time for another catch up! Let’s pick up from where we left off from our stay in Crystal Beach TX. We stayed for the month of October which has been our favorite month to do so. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and probably the nicest beach water as well.

We finally decided to get some e-bikes which we have been loving! Lots of walks to on the beach and sunset dinners. And if we wanted some pool time we were lucky to have Margaritaville next door 😎.

More to come…

And what a summer we had! We got to spend time with all 3 kids and lots and lots of time with the grandbaby💕.

So we put the motorhome in storage for a few months so we could hang out with the kids and get Elysia and the family all settled in their new home.

Sometimes we just got to busy or stuck in the moment too remember to take pictures but here are highlights. We finally did our first renaissance and Philippine festival, annual trip to Vail, camping in the mountains, get togethers with the dear old neighbors and lots of quality time with the kids.

Definitely a summer to remember! Nothing better and feeling blessed than to hang out and spend time with the family ❤️.

Spent a few weeks hanging out with Lucho and Maria before Elysia’s big move back to CO.

Even had a little pre-game going on in the “party bus” before the kids headed out for the night😂.

❤️

Continuing the summer recap, this year we celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary late May💍.

Had a wonderful dinner with beautiful views and had a fantastic evening.

Next we’ll hang out with Lucho for his birthday 🎉.

Continuing on, arrived in Salida CO and we couldn’t ask for better weather. We even got a visit from Maria for Mother’s Day🥰 and a few deer.

There is so much to in and around here. With the beautiful mountains there’s so many trails and hikes of all levels which is also very popular for all the mountain bikers. If you love the water the Arkansas river provides so many options!

Of course always recommend a dinner and cocktails downtown.

It been awhile so let’s pick up where we left off back in May😮.

We had just arrived in Colorado and we couldn’t be more excited! For the first time in many years we would have all of our kids back in one state where we raised our family all through their childhood🥰.

We knew it was going to be a busy summer so we made sure to get some down time in. Since we were coming from the west our first stop was one of our favorites, Durango CO. Always love browsing all the shops downtown and ending the evening with a dessert and cocktails. The next day we spent walking the river front trail and taking in all the water sport activities which is always fun to watch.

After a few days it was off to Pagosa Springs, we have driven through several times but this time we really wanted to explore the area and wow was it beautiful! We preferred to stay up in the mountains by the lake but maybe the next time we’ll do a night at the hot springs resort which sits right on the river. There is a nice hot spring spot on the other side of the river that is free to the public.

Next we head over the mountain to Salida….
