This day is a reminder that these lives matter, their stories matter, and the crisis is still ongoing. We stand in solidarity with families, communities, and loved ones who continue to seek justice & healing.

Hello Denver community! It’s finally here! Join us Sunday, May 3rd for the 2026 New Beginnings Powwow ✨ A day full of dance, culture, and community. Bring your people and come celebrate with us ❤️

Included is a map of locations of powwow activities and a schedule. Our day kicks off at 8:00am with registration at 10:00am and grand entry at 12:00pm!!

Feel free to bring umbrellas and canopy’s to protect yourself against any weather or heat🌦️
Also, Spirt of the Sun is going to be giving out food to kids 18 and younger!
Please also bring chairs!
There will be water stations inside Sturm Hall and the Community Commons to fill water bottles, stay hydrated!
