Treasure Box Tours

Last week we had our last tour of 2024 with our luxury staycation - Winter Diamonds. It was an extravagant to-do filled with holiday joy and wonder! We stayed at the Ga***rd Rockies Resort, the Populus Hotel and the Eddy Hotel & Taproom, saw Christmas lights downtown, brrrred our way through ICE! at the Ga***rd, ate wonderful meals and even got a jolly holiday tour from our friends with ! What a wonderful event. We wish you all a happy holiday season, and we look forward to seeing you in 2025!

This week, our guests got the royal experience with visits to the Cherokee Ranch Castle and the Highlands Ranch Mansion. A taste of luxury and royalty, so much fun!

Last week, Kevin took a group of folks to learn about all things divine! They visited the Kadampa Meditation Center, Mile High Church and Zera Abraham. What fun! We’re always finding local treasures on our tours.

Our journey continues with a visit to Japan! We’ve had a grand time in the land of the rising sun, visiting Hiroshima, Kyoto, Osaka, Fujiyoshida - where we were hosted by our sister city connection with Colorado Springs, and finally, Tokyo! We head home soon, but are still having a blast exploring this country! Adventure is always found with Treasure Box Tours!

Treasure Box Tours has made it across the globe! We have our grand international adventure this year in South Korea and Japan. Our first stop was in Seoul, where we spent five days exploring palaces, fortresses, lots of yummy foods and taking in the wonderful culture. Aside from the heat and humidity, we’ve been having the time of our lives! Next, we head to Japan. Stay tuned for more!

We’re out and about in Vail, CO today to get our cheese on! It’s a tour that’s all about cheese. We start with some raclette at the , then onto a walk through the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, then more raclette and fondue this evening at to round out our day. A journey devouring cheese, how fun!

We’re at the Kit Carson County Fair, eating some great bbq, watermelon, riding the historic carousel and watching the rodeo. A fine day in eastern Colorado, what a fun way to experience our western roots!

They’re off to adventure! Kevin is taking a group to South Dakota with our train guru, Jack Wheeler! They’ve made it there, now the fun may begin. Stay tuned and follow their journey via our stories.

Our journey following along the Platte River continues! Though, today we finally met the confluence of the Platte and Missouri Rivers, so now we trace our steps back home to Colorado. What an awesome river adventure it’s been! Wild mountain waters to placid plains waterways, it’s been a blast. We even got a chance to get out on the river with , so amazing!

We’re at it again! Tracing the Platte River this year from its headwaters (for both the North and South Plattes) all the way to the confluence with the Missouri River in Nebraska. We’ve made it to Casper, WY!

In May we will trace the Platte River from its headwaters in Colorado to the confluence of the Missouri River in Nebraska. It’s our third river to see in its entirety from the “headwaters state,” and there is a lot to learn on this tour!
