I’ve been sitting on a secret, but now the cat’s out of the bag!
I am very honored to announce that I made Top 100 Future Designers of North America! I am so thankful for the education I received from and have so much gratitude for my professors— particularly Behrouz, who nominated me. At one time, I was his worst Revit student, bar none. He used to joke that he was going to charge me a quarter every time I asked the same question twice because he, “really wanted to retire as a multi-millionaire.” 😂 The patience that man has rivals only my father’s. Truly a saint. A huge thank you to the Metropolis committee for this award. I am deeply honored to be among such esteemed company.

What a girl gang. I met these ladies at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. We’d each gone back to school for a second degree— a quarter-life career change, if you will. We quickly became thick as thieves. Their friendship makes me a better person and their insanely talented design work inspires and pushes me to stay on my A-game. Happy almost birthday, Meghan! The best is yet to come!
2025. What a year. It started on really rocky ground, but pretty quickly turned around! I took improv classes, writing classes, salsa classes and Pilates classes. I tried arial yoga (not for me) a sexy dance class (va va va voom), and became a sauna girlie. I tackled and overcame big things in therapy. I joined a book club, and actual read (some of) the books. I wake surfed for the first time since 2019(?). I traveled (a lot), hosted friends at my house, and hosted “cousins camp 2025”. I saw more music than I have since college and went to my first musical festival in a looong time. I moved, participated in my first art gallery showing, and FREAKING GRADUATED magma cm laude with my second bachelors degree— all in the span of 45 days. I threw parties, attended parties, and stuck to a skin care routine. And just when I least expected it, I fell in love— with a man, my life, and with myself— again.
Life comes at you fast. Ready for the year of the horse, and feeling nothing but gratitude for the year of the snake. Peace and love, friends! May 2026 bring you health, joy, and prosperity. 🥰

They’re too pretty and I’m too mushy-gushy not to give this bouquet a perma square. 🥰

But my momma told me I didn’t have enough n**e art in my house. So I added a show girl to the living room. 👉 💃

“You know it’s not the same as it was.” It’s better. It’s “Golden.”

Ya girl did it! With a 3.8 to boot!
… then took a much needed beat to exhale. 😗💨
I’ve been off the ‘gram for quite some time now. Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 hurled life changes at me in every major category. I’ve spent the Summer of 2025 reconnecting with myself. Starting new hobbies, traveling, tapping into what brings me joy… even finding love again. 💫
So what’s new at the CASA, you ask? Well, a lot! Since graduating, I’ve been focusing my time on building a career in hospitality design, as well as product design (think furniture, textiles and ceramics). Fear not, I’m currently still taking on residential clients on a case by case basis. Don’t hesitate to reach out with your project needs and we can chat!
I’ve also moved into a new CASA! From the mid-century ranch I once adored and into a 1920s bungalow I’m utterly obsessed with. I can’t wait to show you how all of my existing furniture has been arranged to fit my new home. It’s my favorite house I’ve ever lived in… and yes, I know I say every time I move. But it’s always true! From an interiors standpoint, my current house and old house look NOTHING alike— even though I’ve not purchased a single new piece of furniture. Moral of the story: When you invest in quality, timeless pieces, they can travel with you wherever you go. Good taste always has a place to call home.
So cheers to beginning a new season feeling rejuvenated and ready to rock! 🤘
