Helping couples build thriving marriages as disciples of Jesus Christ

03/25/2025

šŸ‘‰ Most couples don't fail because of big blow-ups.

They drift apart over dinner conversations about nothing but the kids.

They drift apart in bedrooms where screens come first.

They drift apart in quiet resentments never spoken.

60% of divorces happen between ages 25-39.

The reason? "We just grew apart."

But the drift isn't inevitable.

Join us for the Ignite Marriage Intimacy Workshop on March 26th and discover the simple, daily practices that transform disconnection into deep intimacy—emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

This isn't about perfection. It's about presence. And it starts with one intentional step.

šŸ’ "We need to talk."

Four words that can make any spouse's heart skip a beat.

But what if the problem isn't what you're talking about—it's that you've stopped really talking at all?
That slow drift happens in even the strongest marriages. One day you're soulmates, the next you're roommates managing logistics and schedules.

It's not dramatic. It's subtle. And it's why we created the Ignite Marriage Intimacy Workshop.
In just 90 minutes on March 26th, we'll show you:

It's not dramatic—it's subtle—and that's why we created the Ignite Marriage Intimacy Workshop.

Because your marriage deserves more than just surviving—it deserves to thrive.

Secure your spot before registration closes, Lynk in bio.

The other night, I was tucking our youngest little five-year-old into bed when he asked for just one more story. His little voice, full of mischief and innocence, made me pause.

I almost said no—I was tired, drained from the day. But then I looked at him… his big eyes, messy hair, and tiny hands clutching his lovey blanket. And it hit me.

I almost said no—I was tired, drained from the day. But then I looked at him… his big eyes, his messy hair, his tiny hands clutching his lovey blanket. And it hit me.

One day, he won’t ask for another story.
One day, he’ll be too big to want me to tuck him in.
One day, the Legos, monster trucks, and giggles will be gone.

And one day, I’ll miss this.

I was reminded of this verse:

"Do not say, ā€˜Why were the old days better than these?’ For it is not wise to ask such questions.ā€ – Ecclesiastes 7:10

Life moves forward. The seasons we love don’t last forever. But instead of mourning that, we’re called to be fully here, fully present, fully alive in the moments we’ve been given.

šŸ’” So tonight…

If your little one asks for one more story—say yes.
If your spouse leans into you a little longer—hold them tighter.
If you have a moment that makes you think, I want to remember this—soak it in.

Because this life? It’s happening right now. And you only get one shot at it. ā¤ļø

The Valentine’s Day Gift That (Almost) Ruined Everything 😬

It was one of our first Valentine’s Days as a married couple, and I wanted to make a BIG impression. Something unforgettable.

So, in my infinite wisdom, I got Holly a bulldog puppy. No research. No planning. Just pure, romantic impulse.

And at first? It worked. She LOVED the dog. Huge success.

Until it wasn’t.

That little bulldog turned our lives upside down—she shredded our brand-new couch, peed on the floor whenever guests walked in, and racked up medical bills like she was on a mission to bankrupt us. šŸ˜…

Four years later, we found her a loving home with a vet friend, and she lived out her days being ridiculously spoiled.

Lesson learned.

This year? No surprise puppies. We already made that mistake again last summer when we got the kids a dog. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

But looking back, that crazy Valentine’s Day taught me something important: I took a risk to show Holly she was loved.

For years, I let fear of failure paralyze me. I played it safe. I avoided anything that could make me look foolish. And honestly? That perfectionism kept me from learning, growing, and loving Holly well.

So this Valentine’s Day, I’ve got a question for you:

šŸ’” What risk do you need to take to make your wife feel loved?

Probably not a puppy with a bow. (Trust me on that one.)

But what’s one intentional thing you can do that speaks uniquely to her heart?

Whatever it is, take the risk. Love her boldly.

Tag a husband who needs to hear this. ā¬‡ļø
