Sometimes it's just better to chop and toss. Only time will tell with this philodendron, but the top wasn't in great condition and not worth trying to propagate. If the root system is healthy, I will hopefully get multiple growth points; resulting in a healthier, bushier plant.
Time to put some of my plants back outside for the summer. If you have plants that live inside during the winter amd outside in the summer, don't forget to gradually expose them to the direct sun. This will help keep the plant from getting burned by the light they aren't used to, but will eventually love.

Basically, whatever your plants need...we got you covered. 😆
1. Bright indirect light, for all your pearls. Make sure to not hang your pearls too high so the top of the pot is getting light.
2. Water your pearls thoroughly when the soil has completely dried. I like to wait until the pearls are a little dehydrated/deflated and the "windows" or transparent stripes on them have closed.
3. Keep them dry. Bottom water if possible, and keep them somewhere with lower humidity.
4. Chop and prop when necessary. If the vines are getting too long or looking bare, cut them and propagate the vines. The vines will root easy moist soil or moss.
Did you know that crotons produce two types of flowers, a male amd female flower? Crotons are monoecious, meaning it's a plant that produces two distinct flowers, one male amd one female. Super cool!

Heart-shaped Philodendron Leaves
Philodendron Silver Stripe
Philodendron Micans
Philodendron Brasil
Philodendron Green Heartleaf
Philodendron Variegated Heartleaf
The philodendron brasil is a beautiful plant that is easy to care for. They thrive in bright to medium indirect light, and should be watered after the soil is half to mostly dry.
One of my biggest pieces of plant care advice is to just pay attention to your plants. Make sure you notice any changes in its growth as the first signs that the plant is happy or needs some tlc. The sooner you notice a problem, the quicker you can fix it and get it back to growing strong and healthy.
