My first Black eyed Susan

It’s so hot I’ve had to move all the pots in together to an easier watering locale and they will also help keep each other cool. Looks quite nice but is annoying.

I was away for a couple of days and was n that time the babies have emerged from their house and are exploring. But because it is 96° they still@love a nap and a cuddle. Mom is always on alert but happily grabs an almond, a strawberry and a quick@mist from the hose.

The roses the squirrels haven’t eaten.

Grandma’s old peonies are still giving the most! Julia Child rose and some good old nepeta round out this week’s cut flowers.
