Stephanie is an accomplished Organizational Development and Human Capital professional with more than 25 years of experience across consulting firms, global corporations, and academia. Her passion is authentically partnering with clients to bring about meaningful transformation and enable people to thrive at work.
What sets Stephanie apart is her deep curiosity and desire to understand the uniqueness of each organization and team so that together, they can craft and implement solutions that inspire the greatest success. She is adept at integrating the strategic, operational, and human dimensions of organizations, helping leaders and teams reformulate unhealthy patterns to create positive and abundant work environments.
Organization design, talent strategy, leadership development, team effectiveness, culture transformation, and change management are among her primary areas of focus. Stephanie holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan and is a Certified Professional Coach. She is also certified in Denison Culture Survey, Pinsight Assessments, and has extensive experience with DiSC, Insights Discovery, EQi, and the Enneagram.
Outside of work, Stephanie is a voracious reader who loves traveling the world with her son George and her partner Michael. Time in nature is essential for her well-being, whether that means hiking and skiing mountains, walking along a coast, or savoring good food, wine, and live music. She also contributes to her family's non-profit, Village Project Africa, which runs a school in rural Kenya.

If you are leading change and something feels fragile beneath the surface, that instinct is usually right.
Most organizations sense the drift before they can name it. Momentum slows. Old habits resurface. The work looks the same, even if the language has changed.
That is not a leadership failure. It is a signal that change has not yet taken root in the everyday work.

We just found out that Levata Human Performance is #8 on the Denver Business Journal's 2026 Best Places to Work list. And honestly, the significance of it still has not fully landed.
Not because we did not believe we had something special. But because what makes Levata a great place to work is not a perks list. It is something harder to build and even harder to sustain.
It is the way our colleagues show up for each other every single day.
We are a fully virtual team spread across the country. We do not have a headquarters lobby or a breakroom where culture just happens. Everything we have built has been intentional. The trust. The transparency. The way we hold space for honest conversations even when they are uncomfortable.
Here is what this recognition actually reflects:
A culture where people feel safe enough to say what they really think. Where feedback flows in every direction, not just top down. Where "assume positive intent" is not a poster on a wall but a daily practice. Where we genuinely believe that taking care of our people is how we take care of our clients.
We talk a lot about helping organizations put people at the center of performance and change. This recognition is proof that we practice what we preach. We are not perfect. But we are committed to building a workplace where people can bring their full selves, do meaningful work, and grow alongside each other.

The best leaders you have ever worked with probably never called themselves heroes, let alone Jedi Masters.
They listened before they spoke. They stayed steady when everyone else was reacting like stormtroopers in a firefight. They made space for others to step up. And they kept showing up, even when the path forward was as murky as a Dagobah swamp.
Today is May the 4th, and while it is a day for fun and fandom, there is something in the Star Wars saga that resonates well beyond the screen.
The characters we remember most are not the ones who wielded the most power. (Looking at you, Emperor.) They are the ones who invested in others.
Mentorship changes both people. Obi-Wan shaped Luke, but Luke also gave Obi-Wan's life new purpose. Yoda trained generations of Jedi, and every padawan left a mark on him too. Real leadership works the same way. You don't just develop people. You're shaped by walking alongside them.
Focus matters more than force. Anakin's downfall wasn't a lack of talent. It was trying to control everything, save everyone, be everywhere at once. The leaders who sustain their impact stay present, manage their energy, and resist the pull of overextension. They delegate. They prioritize. They protect their capacity for when it actually matters.
Failure is the teacher. Yoda said it plainly: "The greatest teacher, failure is." The exceptional leaders we work with at Levata get this in their bones. They don't pretend setbacks didn't happen. They learn, adjust, and pass those lessons forward so others don't repeat them.
Leadership is not a grand gesture or a heroic act. It is the willingness to be honest, to stay grounded, and to lead with care even when things are uncertain.
The leaders who last are the ones who build trust, not spectacle. The ones who create environments where people feel safe enough to take risks, grow through challenges, and do their best work together.
