Tell the USPS to keep federal bureaucracy out of Colorado’s elections.
USPS shouldn't get to decide whether or not you get to vote.
USPS has proposed a rule that would require election officials to share voter information and ballot tracking data with them before they let any ballots get mailed out or back. It would put them in between you and your ballot.
As the only candidate who's run elections, and the only candidate who's a lawyer, these are exactly the kinds of challenges I'm prepared for.
Colorado's mail ballot system works because election officials run elections and USPS delivers the mail (thank you, letter carriers!). It also works because election experts like me built a resilient, secure, accessible system.
This is our time to fight back, Colorado.
USPS is required to accept public comments before moving forward. Let's tell them no. Go here to send your comment before July 2 in just a few clicks: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-usps-protect-colorados-mail-ballot-system?source=direct_link&

Red Flag.
USPS wants to step between you and your ballot.
Act now to tell them no.

I'm Amanda Gonzalez and I'm running for Secretary of State. I run elections right now for nearly half a million Coloradans. I'm an election lawyer. I've written our election laws. I also think the person in this role should have actually done the work before. Colorado's Primary is June 30. If this resonates with you, I'd really appreciate a share (and a vote!)

"Amanda Gonzalez understands the challenges county clerks face because she’s done the job herself. I’ve worked with her and know she cares deeply about helping clerks succeed, listening to local officials, and working in partnership with counties of every size." - Nathan Ruybal, Conejos County Clerk & Recorder
So grateful for the support of Clerk Ruybal, for my Secretary of State campaign and for our whole coalition of democracy defenders.

Attention unaffiliated voters!
You received TWO ballots in your packet. That's because Colorado lets unaffiliated voters choose which major party's primary they want to participate in.
Just remember: vote and return ONE ballot only.
You may also notice your return envelope is a different color than some of your neighbors'. Many counties use different colors because election workers need to verify that only one ballot was returned before it can be counted.
Colorado elections are full of little details most people never see. Happy voting!

The FBI raided the offices of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, a major voter registration nonprofit, seizing equipment and questioning staff. Federal authorities haven't publicly said why.
You don't have to shut down voter registration efforts to discourage them. Just make volunteers wonder if they'll be next.
When I was writing Colorado's Automatic Voter Registration law, these are exactly the kinds of attacks I was trying to prevent. And that’s yet one more reason Colorado’s election system is more resilient and more secure.

The best part of campaign life is meeting people who are also working hard to build a democracy that works for all of us!
Thanks to Douglas and Arapahoe Counties for the warm welcome and all the great conversations this weekend.

Colorado's Secretary of State should answer to Coloradans.
According to the latest campaign finance reports, 75% of the contributions to this campaign came from Coloradans.
This office belongs to the people of Colorado, and the people who should decide who holds it are the people who live here.
I'm proud that this campaign is being built by Coloradans, for Coloradans.
Thank you to everyone who has chosen to be part of it.
