When Sunbean launched on in April, I thought that was the big milestone.

Then two weeks later, Chewy reached out and asked if we could expand the collection to include matching human apparel too.

As a one-woman business inspired by my rescue Dachshund, Bean, moments like this feel pretty surreal.

The full matching sets are now live on Chewy, and it’s all possible because of every person who has supported Sunbean along the way 💛

When I started our ambassador program, I wasn’t looking for people to simply share a discount code.

I wanted to build a community of dog parents who genuinely love what we’re creating at Sunbean 🐶🤍

Of course there are perks. But my favorite part is seeing what happens beyond them.

This month, I kept thinking about what kind of brand I want Sunbean to become.

Of course I want to grow 🌱
Of course I want more people to discover Sunbean (not being biased but I think our products are pretty great 😌)

But more than anything… I want this brand to feel personal.

Because behind every order is someone who deeply loves their dog. Someone celebrating them, spoiling them, making them part of every part of life. And that means a lot to me because that’s exactly why Sunbean exists in the first place 🤍

So this Dog Mom Month, I wanted to pour extra love back into the community already here. Little surprises, handwritten notes, giveaways, gifts, and our first ever dog mom walk in the park in Denver.

All in all, I just want someone to tell all dog moms out there “ I SEE YOU” 👀 and let that someone be me.

The Smiley Collection restock has been back for ONE WEEK… and I just realized the blue colorway has the wrong embroidered smiley face 😭

It was supposed to be blue 🩵
Instead… the entire restock came in brown 🤎🫪

Not the end of the world, but definitely one of those moments that reminds me this business is run by one person (plus Boba as emotional support management and chaos creator - not controller).

When you’re a solo founder, you’re the designer, product checker, customer service team, marketer, content creator, warehouse manager, and quality control department all at once.

Sometimes little things slip through.

The funny part is I probably looked at these tees 500 times before noticing it 💀

Anyway… consider this “happy accident” as a limited edition 😝
