Can you believe it’s almost time for me to start planning fall mini sessions? This is a small example of what you can expect, and it only takes 15 minutes or less. I’m excited to start getting some dates on the calendar! 🎉 Are you in for fall minis?!

Those tiny fingers and toes turn into chunky toddler hands and suddenly they’re outgrowing shoes faster than you can keep up. These days go by so fast, and it’s so special to preserve this time for families.

Every one of us came from our first home in a mother’s womb. Recently, Andres and Levin were talking about me giving birth to him. Levin asked “Did it hurt Mama when I came out?” Thoughtful, concerned boy. 🥹 Yes, of course, it did, but I’d do it all over again to have him and Joseph. All of us mothers would for our babies. Happy Mother’s Day to the sleep-deprived moms, the moms learning who they are after their babies have grown, and to all the moms in between. 🌷

Well it’s been over a YEAR since I’ve posted a photo of just me. 🙃

But HI! This is the face behind the name. I’m grateful you’re here. Some things about me: milk goes in *after* the cereal, I do enjoy pineapple on pizza, toilet paper roll goes over (unless kids then under can be helpful), must have a top sheet, and hot coffee year round. 🤪

Newborn session in the backyard? YES. This crew is always SO fun to photograph. Kids on every swing and slide, happy to run and chase each other, and beyond ecstatic about holding their new baby sister (who is not even a baby anymore 😩 because I take 100 years to post images). Enjoy this set and all of Eliza’s cute little features. 💕

I loved getting to meet these two and then take their sweet baby boy’s newborns later on. In some cases, there is a huuuuge height difference with couples. In this case, I position y’all in flattering poses that bring your faces a little closer together like sitting, laying, or having the shorter person stand on something. Of course, there’s also just the reality that one of you is short and one of you is tall, so I like to showcase your height difference, too. 😊

We’ve been planting carrots, potatoes, flowers, and tomatoes. Lots of getting dirt in our eyes from the construction site behind us, but also used it as a fun driving course. Fun times watching cousin soccer games, celebrating dear family & friends’ birthdays, and just spending time together with loved ones. My sister found her beautiful wedding dress and she is just stunning in it. Visited our friend’s baby goats and ducklings—always a hit. We love spring (minus the allergies 🤧). 💚🌸

Here I am again, slacking on posting! We’ve been through ANOTHER round of colds and ear infections around here and I am READY for some sick-free months. In other news, despite the sicknesses, I’ve been enjoying a little time off from shooting and just spending time with my family. I’m getting back to it this weekend and have a whole line-up of newborns and families to photograph for the rest of the spring! I have a few openings at the end of May but that’s about it (because y’all are the BEST!). 🎉

The Stauffer Family pictured here is one that keeps coming back and I love it every. Single. Time. 🥹 They’re truly the sweetest. I actually just did baby Autumn’s cake smash photos and I think they’re my favorite cake smash photos ever, so stay tuned!!! 🎂
