After 10 pride seasons, what has it meant to YOU?

Did you go down the slide at Big Gay Swim Day?
Did you get your first pride flag at Night OUT?
Did you march from the Square to Oak Street in 2017? Have you been collecting all the pint glasses?
Snagged all the raccoon T-shirts from Pan Ector?
Did you volunteer?
Decorate the sidewalk?
Dance to Ursa Minor?

Let’s hear the story!

Fill out the form and upload your video.

PRIDE IN OUR STORIES!
Our amazing panelists have many stories to share and we’re excited to learn about the origins of these organizations and leaders

Despite the odds and risks, these leaders poured their love into creating community. We will hear origin stories of three Denton-based q***r and trans orgs from Dr. Carmen Cruz, founder of PRIDENTON, Rev. Pam Wat, co-founder of OUTreach Denton, Adrienne Ortega, current Chair of OUTreach Denton, and Dr. Chwee-Lye Chng, original advisor for UNT GLAD.

In collaboration with Equality Texas, this virtual panel discussion will touch on the challenges of building nonprofits and student groups from the ground up, and what the future holds for the next generation.
is required to attend the Zoom webinar on Tuesday, June 23 from 7-8:30pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT
▪️Registration is monitored as best as possible. Like any virtual environment, there is a possibility of disruptors. We will force any inappropriate or disruptive intruders out of the webinar if necessary.
▪️All ages
▪️ASL interpretation will be provided
▪️Session will not be recorded to protect our speakers and attendees
▪️Q&A will occur after the main discussion

Here are a few things to know before you go to Night OUT.
Hopefully, this helps answer a few questions and helps folks plan their evening.

We’d like to thank Alex La Rue Alex Jean for creating an accessibility resource packet focused on pathways, parking, restrooms, and entrances. The full packet can be found on our website or in our bio.

Thanks to everyone who’s been showing us some love this season. And as a “thank you”, we will be giving away (for free!) PRIDENTON flags and the coveted “Local Gay” tote bag to the first 100 people at NIGHT OUT, this Friday June 12th, 6-10pm, at the Quakertown Civic Center.

Fill your bag with other goodies from our wonderful vendors.

See you there!

Big Pride in lil d!

We are excited to have local artist, Anna Galluzzi, back to showcase their joyful work with us. We asked them to re-create the “Lil d” sculpture that once stood outside , the site for our first ever PRIDENTON event back in 2017.

The structure became part of our slogan, the site of our team photos, and inspiration for various artists to decorate the “d” each year.

It is an important part of our story and we were so glad that Anna could be called upon to help make this happen.

Be sure to snag a photo and be sure to tag us— this Friday at Night OUT at the Quakertown Civic Center, 6 to 10 PM.
