Cannable Convention MK:IX returns to Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios for more Metal, BBQ and Philanthropy! Save the date because "Its a Cannable Life."

We have some of the finest Texas BBQ (and Veg option) available.
Everyone knows the holidays can be difficult so lets bring cheer and charity just 4 days before Christmas and donate to one of Dentons finest institutions the Denton Community Food Center. They have been working hard serving Dentons communities for decades. There may even be a surprise visit by the Zombie Santa himself! Stay metal and stay tuned for the coming announcement of all the AMAZING bands we have in store for you!

Join us in wishing Jake “Big Cat” Pearson a happy birthday!

As one half of the Council of Riffs, Jake adds intensity and velocity with his fiery performances on guitar. You can hear his influence on our live sound in songs written both before and after he joined us years ago. Aside from that, he’s a really fun person to be around and there’s rarely a dull moment when he’s involved. We’re grateful to have him with us and applaud his determined ascent to second best drummer in the band.

Happy birthday, Big Cat!

We finally got around to checking out the Sunshine Bar in Arlington, Texas over the weekend. Old school dive bar-type venue with friendly staff and welcoming patrons. We’ll have to get over there and play a show sometime soon. Arlington punk and metal shows are among our favorites.

The real lifeblood of a scene won’t be found in huge, overpriced arena tours. It’s found in the places where the best band you’ve never heard has a chance to get their music out there for 1/10th the cost of a big, bloated national tour package.

Every national band was once a local band. Don’t forget where you came from. Stay frosty, metal heads 🤘🏽

We’ve been pretty busy behind the scenes working. So busy that we forgot to wish our esteemed bassist Jared a happy birthday! Jared “Jardel” Henry not only lays it down on bass and backing vocals, he also is the driving force behind Cannable Convention(s) and our internal recording processes. A valuable member of our business unit, we’re extremely grateful to have him on our squad. Happy belated birthday, Jared!
