At an early age I learned that our gifts should be used to serve others, and gratitude and loved can be shown by feeding people. So when someone I love is blessed with such good care, support and love, I give thanks to God and make cookies.

Strawberry baby shower cookies 💕

For the first seven weeks of this school year I decided not to take any cookie orders and that was the best decision for my family and me, but it felt good to be back in my cookie room creating last night for a very special customer.

I’m still here, just drinking more coffee and holding a grading pen instead of an icing bag. I’ll find a school rhythm and be back decorating cookies next month!
