Fort Beet
Part time gardeners that sell a few plants here and there.
Chef Sarah Ann Kettelhut and area man Cory Ward have enjoyed gardening since they bought their home in central Denton, TX in the summer of 2008.
These plants love that spot on the porch that protects from too much rain or sun. and lightning.
Thank you Larry Larry Glenn Ward! $20 donated to DMAC!
Thank you Robert Doyle Cain! $4 donated to DMAC.

Child labor laws are suspended during this pandemic, right? Asking for a friend.

Why am I doing this? Well, a couple reasons. Mostly, I’m fortunate enough to still be working during this pandemic. I wanted to help out, sell off some of our extra plants and pups while giving 80% to DMAC. I’ve got a lot of friends that aren’t working right now and can’t afford a doctor’s visit if they needed one. What’s DMAC? Click here to find out. https://dmacdenton.org/
I’ll deliver for free within 5 miles of Denton High School and leave it in a safe area on your porch. Don’t touch them for a few days just to be safe. It’s the perfect plant to buy right now. They are super easy to keep (notice I didn’t say take care of?). They’ll make their own pups in a year or two.
Denton Music and Arts Collaborative DMAC provides healthcare subsidies to Denton musicians and artists to enable them to thrive in Denton.

These racks house different kinds of ground covering and crawling succulents. The racks have been neglected for a few years and then out of nowhere, sedum appeared again. Sedum grows like crazy so hopefully we’ll have some more we can share in a couple weeks.

Garlic Chives! Not for sale yet. We have a lot of these. They’re great in soups. Sometimes in the spring and summer, it sprouts tall, small, edible flowers. It adds a touch of garlic to any plate. See Chef Kettelhut’s plate in the comments. This plate won first place at the 2018 NACUFS Southern Region conference competition. Topped with garlic chive flowers.

This African Milk Tree is getting a little big for her britches. Cuttings not for sale yet. She’s been touching the ceiling for over a year now. It’s not a tree though. It’s not a bush or a cactus either. Not really sure what it is. They get really big though and hate to be pampered. It’s the perfect plant for those that tend to neglect plants.
